For the CIAT software you must contact Cassbeth

Installation Instructions:

1. Get the ciat.zip file
2. place it on your C drive at C:\z-places\shareware

If you are prevented from downloading the .zip version

A. download the .freedom version
B. rename it to .zip once the download completes

After download is complete

3. unzip (uncompress) the file
4. place it on your C drive at C:\z-cassbeth\ciat
5. go to C:\z-cassbeth\ciat
6. look for Start-Ciat.bat, select copy
7. go to the desktop and select paste shortcut to create a shortcut
8. rename the shortcut to just Start-Ciat
7. this completes the install
8. double click the Start-Ciat shortcut to start CIAT

Note: This is the way programs were installed in the past. It provides full visibility into where the program goes and executes on your computer.

For installation on your network

1. copy and paste the ciat folder to your public_html directory
2. update your Apache conf file to point to the new web location on public_html
3. move the Perl scrits to cgi-bin and update all the links or leave them where they are
4. make sure to change the permissions for all the .cgi and .pl files to 755 so that they execute
